WATSONVILLE– Neighborhood law enforcement is seeking the general public’s aid in recognizing assault suspects connected to a nonfatal Airport Boulevard stabbing today.

At first reported at 6:39 p.m. Tuesday as a male stabbing sufferer who was located behind a supermarket within the city restrictions, the attack was later on pinpointed to a location in unincorporated Santa Cruz Region, near Airport Terminal Blvd as well as Pajaro Circle, according to 911 dispatch telephone calls.

According to the Santa Cruz Area Sheriff’s Office, the stabbing target was moved to an out-of-county trauma center for treatment of his wounds.

Investigators think there were 2 male presumed aggressors included who were approximately 20 to thirty years old and were seen driving away in a black sedan.

“Our team believe there were several individuals driving on Airport Blvd that may have seen the event,” the Sheriff’s Office posted to its social media sites accounts.

Members of the general public with information pertaining to the stabbing are asked to call Investigator Drew Renwick at 831-454-7638.
